Digital preservation/Archiving Policy
In order to ensure the preservation, usability and accessibility content for long term availability, there is a need for management policies and actions, called as Digital preservation policy.
Principle of Digital Archiving
Intellectual Property: Tropical Journal of Natural Product Research is committed to provide access to digital materials while respecting and upholding the intellectual property rights of authors.
Archiving: Digital preservation activities are performed with the primary goal of long-term access to digital collections.
Authenticity: It ensures that data remain unaltered and the original data is preserved.
Preservation Strategy
Our preservation strategy includes:
Comprehensive Archiving: All published articles, including supplementary materials and metadata, are archived.
Continuous Monitoring: We conducts ongoing checks to ensure the integrity of the archived content.
Format Migration: If file formats become outdated, we ensures migration to newer formats to maintain accessibility.
Data Security: Archived content is protected by robust security measures against unauthorized access or data loss.
This journal utilizes the the PKP Preservation Network as a digital preservation policy.system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their papers in an institutional or subject repository:
- Preprint
- Author's Accepted Manuscript
- Published article
